Midwest Insurance CompanyJuly, 2013 - October, 2016
At Midwest I worked to improve the experience for our clients and internal staff. This included projects to add features to our internal systems and outward website, fix bugs, and implement automated processes to free employees from time consuming tasks.
These projects most often involved working in Java, SQL(Oracle and MySQL), AS2, PHP, and JavaScript. -

Rose-Hulman Ventures
May, 2011 - February 2012
At Rose-Hulman Ventures I worked with a small team of developers to create an application using C#.NET and PHP to parse plain text instructions into specific time intervals that could be used to alert a user as to when the instructions needed to be followed.
I also helped to create a software application for compliance based reporting using a Silverlight web application with a SQL backend.

Reyzed Gaming
Reyzed Gaming is a project I've been tossing around in my head for a couple years and have finally gotten around to actually working on. It is a companion site for popular streaming sites like twitch.tv and beam.pro that allows viewers to play a simple flash game while watching their favorite streamers.
Future plans involve adding a bot that will allow the game for the site to integrate with the actual stream and let players earn currency for the stream as they play and provide all of the other functions that typical stream bots provide (custom commands, giveaways, song requests, etc.). -
Metro-East Wildlife Control
Metro-East Wildlife Control is a company that humanely removes and relocates unwanted or nuisance wildlife from homes or properties. I have recently taken over the maintenance of the website and have updated the old website to be responsive and work better on mobile devices.

About
Hi, I'm Zac. I'm a Software Engineering and Computer Science graduate from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I have a strong background in object oriented programming and have recently begun looking into web development. I also dabble in game development and network security because what self-respecting nerd doesn't want to be a video game making "hacker?"
